A. ZipIt is a UAE-based, business-grade file transfer application with Arabic language support. It is like your online file explorer where you can create folders and sub folders and upload files of more than 10GB to it.
A. To see which plan you are subscribed to, first, you log into ZipIt, and then click on the Billing Page tab on the Side Menu. The page will redirect to the page, where you can view all the details of your plan.
A. Yes, but not directly. On the Billing Page, when you either re-subscribe or select a new plan, you will be redirected to the PayPal payment gateway. From there, all you have to do is fill out the required information, and make the transaction.
A. The trial period activates as soon as a user first registers with us. It lasts for 2 weeks, and allows the user to use all the functions of a full ZipIt account, but at no cost and with a 2 GB file storage limit. When the trial period ends, you can select one of the plans at the bottom of the Billing Page to upgrade your account. Selecting one of these plans takes the user to the PayPal payment gateway, from which the user has to fill out the required information to complete the transaction.
A. Yes, you can. On the Billing Page, there is a button at the top-right side of the Top Bar called ‘My Transactions.’ Clicking on that will open a page where it shows your transaction history. If you want, you can also download the details as a spreadsheet for archive purposes.
A. If you forget your password while logging in, just click “Forgot Password,” and enter your email address. An email will be sent to your inbox saying that your password will be reset to our default one. To reset it, click on the button in the email. Then, change your password. We strongly recommend that you change your password every year.
A. Yes, you can. On the application, go to the Billing Page, and scroll down to the bottom. Select one of the plans you want to go to, and follow the standard billing process. Your previous plan’s payment will be nullified, and the new one will take effect.
A. When you select a new plan, the day you begin it is when you are billed. For example, if you started your plan on the 20th day of the month, for every month after that, your credit card will be billed at that day.
A. To share files, all you have to do is select the share icon on the right side of a file name or directory name, and then select one of the two options. You can send an email directly from ZipIt with a link to the file or directory, or you can generate a link that you can use in any email service or social media.
A. There are three things you can do. One, download the files you want to keep. Two, delete the files you do not want to keep. Or three, use the Move/Copy button in the Top Bar. All you have to do is select the action required, the file or folder you want to move, and the destination. Then, just do it again for all the files you want to keep.
A. In the My Accounts page, there are two options in the Top Bar: Change Username and Change Password. In Change Username, you can enter a new email address you want to use as your username. After you change it, all emails will be redirected to it. In Change Password, you can change the password (of course).
